Getting into a good foreign university primarily depends on your area of study, your scores in the current degree, scores in the entrance exams (E.g. GRE, TOEFL, etc.), supporting academic documents and work experience (if any).

1. Arihant's Guide for Mass Communication Entrance Exam
2. Manorama Yearbook
3. Keval J Kumar's Mass Communication in India
Apart from these books, you should also read newspapers daily including The Hindu and The Economic Times.
