Dear Afroz,
Certain things you should to know about that.
1) These are the government agencies, hence direct recruitment is not possible. Becoming an agent is a promotion and majorly that's their own criteria.
(2) If you look at their website for the same, they pick their officials from the Army (and commandos) by checking their performance.
(3) As per their website, you need to be among top 10% of UPSE candidates.
That's it. They don't much reveal about the selection procedures. It's all hidden and random.
Good luck.
Hope this helps.

No, there is no negative marking applicable in the OUAT entrance exam. This led to an increase in the cutoff of the OUAT entrance exam. Since there is no negative marking hence applicants attempt the maximum number of questions they can or even sometimes they do wild guesses.

Questions that are marked correct give the applicants extra marks even without knowing the correct way of solving them.

It is advisable to the students to attempt all the questions in the exam hall.

Hi,
Well, about the management quota. The best way to approach would be to talk in person with the college authorities. Set up an appointment through phone and talk to them in person. The possibility of getting a seat varies depending on vacancy, which course etc. Start the discussions early on, is my opinion.

If you're interested in some sort of career, plan accordingly. For example, you want to be a chemist, go for a B.Sc in chemistry. Similarly, to be a physicist or if some research drags your interest in physics then be in physics.
If you are opting to settle for better, then, B.Sc chemistry is for you. Physics degree must be accompanied by a Master's degree, but a chemistry Bachelor's degree could do it better in fetching you a job. I, personally, had my uncle go for a job in a pharmaceutical company after he completed his B.Sc PCM (physics, chemistry and maths).

Hi,
In recent times, the specialization of international business or trade has come up in the area of MBA. This will be a good opportunity. Also, MBA in finance will always be helpful because the securities and exchanges we deal with are no longer limited to India alone.

H,
In today's time, what matters is if the college has good placement opportunity infrastructure and faculty. Also, the atmosphere and exposure at the college are of utmost importance. NLUs are amongst the top institutes in India for law and are owned by respective state governments. A private institute, if it has all the above requisites, then one may opt to choose it.
