Please remember MBA is a holistic course which deals with management aspects the major specialization in MBA are:
- Marketing.
- Finance.
- Human resource.
- Operations management, etc.
Most of the students from engineering background opt for either finance or operations management as their specialization.
However, as per your profile I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years and then opt for MBA.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.
- The other advantage of work experience would be that during admission in MBA, you will have advantage over candidates with no work experience.
Finally if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies.
Please note that, the final selection in MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students.
2. Score in various management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT.
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.

Selecting a college is purely and entirely your decision. It would be tough to state a college as the best as every college has it's own plus and minus points.
While selecting, you need to keep in mind the chief point that is to check the recognition whether the college is AICTE / UGC approved or not.
As per the official website :
" Chitkara University and its constituent institutions are duly recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and other apex bodies, and have memberships and accreditations of various national and international bodies and associations. "
As per the official website :
" Lovely Professional University is recognized by University Grants Commission(UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India established for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education in India. It is included in the list of universities maintained by University Grants Commission under section - 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. "
Other than this, you also need to check year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees etc.
Be careful while selecting a college as merely getting a degree is not enough for this competitive world.
