Hi Niraj, Well every university is doing good for their students but as per my knowledge I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B.Tech from here and she is placed in cognizant with good salary package.
1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs.
2) In LPU, due to tie ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester.
3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills etc. Are the part of curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects.
4) There are more than twelve Center of Excellence established by the prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, Cadence etc. For on campus Lab training and internships

The eligibility criteria of B.Tech Dairy Technology of NDRI, Karnal is given below for reference only. Eligibility criteria : The eligibility for admission is 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English from a Board/University recognised by the Institute. Only those candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent G. P. A. in the aggregate are eligible for admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology). The requirement of marks in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Cast/Tribe and PH is 40% or equivalent GPA. The Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination can also apply subject to his/her producing 10+2 passing certificate on the date of counselling. Admission criteria : The admissions to B.Tech. (DT) programme are done through an All India Combined Entrance Examination conducted by the Education Division of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. The subjects for the entrance examination are physics, chemistry and mathematics. The syllabus for these subjects is of 10+2 standard. So from above Biology is not necessary in 12th for getting admission in B.Tech (DT). .
