You can go in either, both are equally good, but if you want some better institute then choose Thapar university, Lovely Professional University, Acropolis Faculty of Management and Research, Astral Institute of Technology & Research, MCA Central India Institute of Technology.
All the above mentioned institutes are best in its class, and in lovely university you may get financial aid .

Yes you can take admission in Fashion Technology after 10th.
You can also take admission in dual degree program : Diploma in Fashion Design + B.Design (Fashion) , it will save your money.
Beside this there are other good institutes of india where u can look for admission as NIFT, Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology,Pearl Academy, Lovely Professional University. There is no comparison of these institutes.

The placement is very good at IIIT Allahabad and you need not be worried as far as that is concerned. The exact placement statistics are usually with the placement cell of the institute only and need not be revealed since IIIT is not a private college trying to lure students. It has a name for itself and has been able to maintain it wonderfully.

BBNIIT is affiliated by GBTU so it has value in terms of its popularity and education.Regarding the placements compared with UPTU i can only tell u about BBDNIIT and BBDNITM as BBNITM is an UPTU affiliated college so both the colleges have kind of same placements opportunities but mainly in marketing companies.
