 Step 1: Open the Official Website
Open the website from the authority of the exam or from the university to which you have appeared for entrance examinations.

Step 2: Find the Tab with Results
Scroll down and find a tab or link that has the wordings "Results, Exam Results, or Entrance Exam Results." It is found in a section as "Admissions" or "Announcements."

1. Checking Eligibility for Transfer
First, ensure whether you are liable to obtain the transfer certificate or not. Some of the colleges will not deliver TC as it is considered their policy or restriction

2. Get in Touch With Your Present College
Make your intent to transfer known to your present college administration or the principal. They can well guide you on what it takes and what papers need to be submitted.

3. Papers Needed Usually you may need:
A duly written application requesting a transfer certificate.
No-objection certificate (NOC) or consent letter from your new college, if mandated
Fee-paid receipts or proof of clearance of any pending dues.
Marksheets or progress reports of the first year.

4. Apply in Writing
Apply a letter to the principal that requests a transfer certificate. The student has to write the justification of this request for example, is changing location, better higher studies, etc., personal purposes, etc.

5. Clear Dues
Pay off all your dues and fees at your prevailing college because mostly the college requires a clearance certificate to transfer your TC

6. Follow-Up
After submitting your application, contact the administration to confirm that the TC has been processed. The processing may take a couple of days.

7. Collect the TC
After it is confirmed by the college, collect the transfer certificate from there. Check all the information provided in the TC and get it rectified if necessary.

8. Transferring TC to New College Hand over your TC along with other documents which are required at the time of admission in the new college.
