You can either join some coaching class or opt to self-prepare for the exam. If choosing the latter option, first go through the syllabus of MAT and be thorough with the basic concepts. Solve decent number of questions per topic to get a good understanding of the particular topic(s). Then, start giving the mocks as well as previous years' MAT papers and analyze them for the mistakes/improvements.
Good luck.

The course related to fabric and garment manufacturing is basically fashion designing, like for Bachelors it is B.Des. in fashion designing and for Masters it is M.Des. in fashion designing.
In this, you'll be taught about the fabric and garment manufacturing in detail. If you just want to go with the fabrics then you can do something with textile designing and that is also a good option with a lot of scope.
