Eligibility
Applicants should have at least a three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/DA) or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete it before June 30, 2013 and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIFM.
Admission Procedure
STEP-1: Apply for Common Admission Test (CAT)
STEP-2: IIFM Application Form:
The cost of IIFM application form is Rs. 900/- (450/- for SC/ ST) payable at Bhopal. This can be obtained either personally or by post. The application form can also be downloaded from our website and in that case, the completed application form should accompany the Demand Draft of the specified amount drawn in favour of “Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management” payable at Bhopal.
Filled in application form, complete in all respect including the CAT registration number (which will be available on CAT vouchers issued by IIM) should reach IIFM Bhopal on or before 10th December 2012. Applicant should attach the photocopy of CAT voucher along with IIFM application form.
STEP-3: Group Discussion/Interview
Total fees is INR 4,00,00 for General and INR 2,40,000 for SC/ST.
PLACEMENTS AT IIFM
IIFM has a 100% placement record from its inception and the same trend continued for the 23nd batch also. The entire batch of 86 students of 2010-12 batch were placed in 34 different organisations.
National - Highest domestic salary package offered - Rs.10.5 lakhs per annum.
National - Lowest domestic salary package offered - Rs.4.5 lakhs per annum.
National Average salary package- Rs.7.3 lakhs.
