Hi Ram,
It would be quite difficult to pursue both the bachelor courses along sides. You can enroll to the BBM through the regular mode and along side can take up courses in Animation. There are many private institutes offering various courses from diploma to degrees (affiliated to open universities). You can refer to the following link:

Hi crystal, To get admission in a British university you must send the following documents to the University you a re applying to Documents required - Class 10 and 12 marksheets and Passing certficate, sem wise or year wise marksheets, degree certificate or provsional certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letter of Recommendation(2), A copy of your passport(1st and Last Page), IELTS ( 6.5 min ). IELTS can be submitted later on if not already written.

bridge program will help you to overcome this one-year shortfall. Universities will require you to take additional courses to cover for any deficiencies. Not all univs offer bridge programs. Hence, you need to find a univ that accepts 3-year degrees with a bridge program,

As already mentioned by you, your son is appearing for GATE, which is one of the premier entrances for the M.tech courses. Other than this there are many other entrances like TAN CET/ State or institute specifics too.
