The entry into IIFT is mostly dependent on the marks you score in the entrance test. If you clear the cut-off, you have very good chances.

Yes, you are but the chances of getting shortlist will be slightly less because of less score in class 12th. Though we cannot be sure at this moment because the criteria for shortlisted is revised by the college every year.

If your CAT/XAT scores meet our minimum requirements (75%+ in all sections and 85%+ overall) then SPJIMR can accept your scores in case you register for PGDM admissions 2018.
Further, for the graduation and higher secondary scores, we don't have any specific cutoff. A decent profile is what SPJIMR looks for in a candidate.

CAT is for primarily Indian B-school and GMAT is for India as well as overseas. The main difference is that the CAT score is one of the mandatory requirement to study in Indian top B-schools like IIMs. However, if you are planning to study abroad, the GMAT score is required.
Both the tests have different exam format, score validity, fees, etc. GMAT is one of the toughest exams and by far more competitive than CAT as it adds a global perspective. The verbal section, integrated and critical reasoning sections in GMAT are tougher. You can also appear for GMAT up to five times in a year. However, CAT can be taken only once a year.

Hi Garry,
It's hard to say as it will depend on how you improved and what the selectivity criteria of the college is. 15 backlogs is a big number. Your overall application package will be checked, recommendation letters will be checked and also your SOP.
