The minimum score required for PG courses is 6.5 overall with no band less than 6, few universities may admit with overall 6 with no band less than 5.5, but these are very rare, suggest you take some good coaching and retake your IELTS.

Architects think and design imagination into paper but civil engineers turn it into reality. Architects see the design and look for building while making building but civil engineering works on the long time running and safety of building. Both are doing work of the building but both have different works. So, think in which portion you have interest. Either, you can make better design or you can make a think into reality. Both have different scope as now a days engineer are more. So, Architecture has more scope than Civil Engineering.

Yes, you can appear for UPSEE exam as appearing in class 12th and passed students can apply for this exam, so, don't need to worry. You just need to score more than 50% marks in class 12th to being eligible for UPSEE exam.
