BCA is Computer application field and there are several streams in which you can pursue a diploma/ short term courses but this will depend on your area of interest and based on which you can decide the course you would plan to pursue.
You can opt for certification courses in fields like Hardware Networking, Security, Data Base, Programming etc.

Hi Rahul, the reputation of RGU is very good. Its a well known Universities all over the UK especially in Scotland. Placements - no university guarantees it bu they prepare their students to be able to clear interviews. If the students pay attention to the services provided by th eUniversity they have no issues in finding jobs. RGU is accredited by Association for Project Management.

Most of colleges will require BSc (Phy) or BSc (PCM) for MSc (Electronics or Physics). Try Distance Learning MSc(Phy) course from Vinayaka Missions University. I think they may allow it.

You can look at giving your CAT exam, in November 2011 . CAT is held once a year, in the month of November. All IIM's accept only CAT scores. Ideally, CAT requires around six months of preparation. You can look at giving your CAT after you finish your B .TECH . You need to score above 99 percentile , if you are seriously contemplating, of getting into the IIM's . As far as coaching classes are concerned, you can look at IMS , CAREER LAUNCHER or TIME .

IT all depends on from which college you are , what was your level in 12th standard. there are laksh os engineering colleges in India, earlier there were in hundreds. so if you are from good engineering college than there is no comparison of salary. FOR EXAMPLE IN IITs OR NITs VERY HIGH CALIBRE STUDENTS TAKE CIVIL MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL, do you mean to say that these students will get lower salary than a student who is doing software engineering from a private college. PLEASE read it again and again what I have written. So it is always true that a good calibre student will be always excel wheter he is doing from mechanical or software.E
