Technically speaking PGDM and MBA are similar. PGDM is offered by colleges approved by AICTE and MBA is offered by universities approved by UGC. PGDM is equivalent to MBA. Even IIMs offer PGDM not MBA.

The college is very good fr finance because of the eminent faculties and a good course structure. In fact college is more known for its finance. The placement in college ranges to an average of around 6 to 6.5 lakhs per annum. And placement cell works hard to ensure all the students who opt for get placed.

Hi Shari,
Have you tried calling the office? Keep the busy schedule in mind and expecting a prompt reply would be wrong. If you are associated with any firm, you can request your seniors to communicate with Tarun Tahiliani and his staff. Have you sent across your portfolio with your mail? That's very important. Get hold of his associates, if needed you do have to drop by.
Good Luck.

Colleges accept more than 50% in graduation. I would suggest you to go for distance MBA, as you will not be able to get admission into regular one.

Good evening !
You may get admission for an MBA/PGDM program with this score in MAT, though no in the very good colleges but still you may surely get in one. You may look for the institutes accepting 400+ marks in MAT provided it should be at least 50%ile.
Thank you.

Hello, To handle the extempore and PI round, you should be first thorough with the current affairs, as it always helps. Secondly, you can be asked anything in your interview, be it current affairs, GK, your graduation subjects, about your hobbies, extra curricular activities or your academic achievements. For extempore, you should daily pick a few topics, and practice in front of the mirror or just like that. It would give you an idea where you stand at present and the scope of improvement. Topics can be even random like chair, fan, grapes or some big heavy topics. You should practice with as much topics as you can. All the best.

Hello,
After the shortlist is declared based on your CAT percentile, the students are called for the next round. The next round is the extempore and Personal Interview round. It has 15% weightage in the final score that is calculated for each student, with 85% weightage given to CAT percentile.
