As per guidelines, every engineering institute is affiliated to any particular university which should have AICTE approval but university (whether private or deemed and with state govt or Central govt act) should have a UGC recognition. As per your statement if you refer to any institute than AICTE approval is must for further education or a government job as a mandate.

B. You can do Bachelors in Science for diverse combinations like chemistry, botany, zoology, physics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, genetics etc.
C. You may take up jobs in the teaching sector, field of medicine and health care, core companies that recruit for your courses
