At the PG level, Presidency University Kolkata offers MA, and M.Sc courses in various streams at the PG level in full-time mode. BA and B.Sc in the relevant discipline is the desired eligibility criteria for MA and M.Sc courses respectively. Admission is offered on the basis of candidates score in PUMDET organized by WBJEEB. WBJEEB finalizes the admission after conducting counselling rounds for the selected candidates as per PUMDET merit list. Key Points:
Those who have passed B.A. (Hons)/B.Sc. (Hons) in 2016 or before, may be allowed to appear for the Admission test under special circumstances. Candidates who have not received their final results of Bachelor degree can take provisional admission based on the marks in the previous parts of their Bachelors examination. Once selected, they will have to produce the final mark sheet before the counselling. Admission to SC/ST/OBC-A/B candidates will be offered as per the reservation policies of West Bengal. For the academic year 2019-20, WBJEEB is going to conduct a common entrance examination PUMDET 2019) to offer admission in MA/ M.Sc. (H) courses offered by Presidency University, Kolkata. Candidates have to answer 50 MCQs of 100 marks for the duration of 90 minutes. Each correct response will yield two marks while a wrong answer will result in the deduction of 1/2 mark. Presidency University, Kolkata PUMDET Merit list: WBJEEB will publish a merit list on the basis of candidates marks in the entrance test. Final rank list can be availed from the official website of WBJEEB portal only. Those who will maintain a position in the General Merit Rank (GMR) List will be called for the counselling rounds at:

Stay motivated- self motivation is extremely crucial. Keep telling yourself that you are capable and you can and have to do it. Keep revising- revising the topics again and again is the key to efficient learning and eventually getting good marks. Plan according to your requirements- make time tables keeping the need in mind. Give more time to the subject you think is your weakness. Don't overdo- don't panic and overstress. Have faith in yourself. Reduce the time you give to social media platforms- not that doing this will help you study better but will certainly keep you mentally fit. I am not saying to remove all the social medias, just cut down its use. Use that time to meditate or sleep.
