NIT Jalandhar isn't really a great option since it is not that reputed as compared to the top 30-40 colleges in India. Avoid it and aim for the much better ones.

Yes, you can do ACCA. But, I won't suggest you this course.
As ACCA is completely an accounting course, whereas MBA is a Management Course.
And, if you really want to do ACCA, you have to do B.Com.

As you mentioned your age particularly, I think you are connecting your age with your qualification, experience and job.  It's absolutely right. but education has no age limits. gaining knowledge at any age will never go in vain.  If you are in the job then, you can do certification courses in similar field which will support your job, promotion etc.  If you are not into job then first find the job and select the course according to your relevent field of work.

As you are doing Diploma in mechanical branch, so, try to revise all the concepts before appearing for the examination. You should purchase previous year papers from nearby markets or you can purchase it from amazon or Flipkart via online shopping. Also, try to give some online tests as well.

The last date for application is 15th June, they will select certain candidates for a so called test named that. The that (Design Aptitude Test) will be conducted on 28th of June. And after successful payment of Course fee, the class will begin from 12th of July.

Score depends not only on the marks you obtained in the exam, but also on the number of candidates appeared in the exam. For each year there is a formula for calculating score.
