- You need to appear in entrance exam.

Yes u r right that u need to work hard all through ur CA but then every education which is going to yield u a good future requires hard work. Always remember that lesser the effort the lesser the output. For CA dedication and hard work are primary but if u are a sincere student and u plan ur time well and use the right strategies u will to put much lesser effort. Ask a sincere student who has cleared any level of CA that how much effort did he/she put in, he will tell u that they studied normal as for them studying 6 hours a day is normal but if u will ask a student who is not so sincere he will tell u exactly opposite, because initially they waste time and create back logs then in the end they study for 15 hours a day. So for CA the approach of the students is most important and is the only thing which decides his success. Have a positive frame of mind and go ahead, just put in ur best effort as u would for any other good education.
And do not think too much about salary, u will never find a CA with some experience suffering financially unless their are some other issues. India is a highly populated country and as the output of students of every stream is more then CA u won't get a very lucrative salary as a fresher in any stream but still students are getting a good start. One more thing u should always remember salary depends much more on ur personal caliber than education, if it is not so people with same education will always get same salaries. Education is just like an entry pass to an amusement park once u get inside ur enjoyment depends on interests and how much u participate. In the same park u will find people enjoying and people getting bored also.

What is BCA
Bachelor of Computer Applications or BCA is a three year degree course taught in several institutes and universities across India. A typical BCA course deals with software design and data base management and working with multiple data in the computer. BCA deals with subjects like C, C languages, Data Base Management, Logical Analysis, Operating Systems, Software Engineering and Client Server Technology.
Scope: A BCA program is the first important step for higher studies especially MCA. It prepares a student for IT and other professions either directly related or after higher studies. BCA provides a student with the much needed exposure of Computer Language applications and prepares a student for a Masters program in Computer Applications (MCA).
Job Prospects: BCA gives a student with a solid platform to further his career in the field of technology but it is strongly recommended that a student should opt for MCA to further his prospects in this competitive world. BCA is a good course but it is simply a bachelor's level degree and not much importance is given by both private and government organizations especially when compared to a B.Tech course. It deals with practical aspect of computer and have syllabus based on more practical of programing language and less theory and less maths also.
