MITSOB provides a PGDM Degree while MITSOM gives you MBA from Pune University. Basics of management education are the same . I would recommend you to personally visit renowned animations and VFX training institutes. talk to the career advisors. see what they are offering. but most important is to talk to the students. they are the best source for you to find out. also check if you can talk to any of the passed out students. they will surely give you right guidance and unbiased opinion.

For OBC around 145 is a safe score assuming your board score is decent enough. But this varies every year. So don't loose hope. Try for NITK MECH. you may get it. cheers!

Chatana's is good for finance. The In-house and visiting faculties are good. CIMR provides summer internship as well as off summers project to the students. The institute is having 100% placement records at its credentials. CIMR also have a dedicated event for finance specialization students called Arthanaad.
The avg. Package will be around 5L-6L, but it depends upon the caliber of the student.

You have not mentioned your stream. Some of the reputed degree colleges in kolkata are presidency univ, jadavpur univ, st.xaviers, goenka, shri shikshaytan, birla, gokhale memorial, loreto, ashutosh college etc etc.
