You can start your preparation topic wise. The time is less for preparation. So, you should start with logical reasoning and data interpretation. Also, go with English language. Then, go for GK and mathematical aptitude. Just create a time of the day and divide your day in four parts in which every part should be given equal weightage. This will help you in covering a large syllabus in less time.

Hello Deepu,
BE and B Tech are one and the same. However packages are not decided by this. These are decided by reputation of the college. Hence rush of recruiters to IIT'S and nobody goes to unknown private colleges.

Cut-off varies with different colleges. For example, 975 would be the cut-off rank for SPA Delhi (a score of around 250-270).

No, admissions into IIT Kharagpur without the JEE entrance exam is not possible if the candidate wishes to take admission in the BTech course. For other course admissions, IIT Karagpur accepts other entrance exam scores. However, only candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the BTech course on top of scoring a valid JEE score will be granted admissions into the IIT Kharagpur BTech course.
