BA LLB is a five year degree programme. The course is an integration of arts and law. Any student who has completed 10+2 can join for this course. For the admissions, they have to qualify an entrance exam.
BBA LLB is also a five year programme. But it is an integration of management and business subjects and law. This degree programme is introduced approximately in 2004 and a large number of youngsters are attracted towards this course nowadays.
Skills required:
-Intellect
-Distinguish the relevant from the irrelevant, screen evidence, and apply the law
-Ability to persuade, convince, argue
-Integrity, character
-Interest in detail
-Ability to assimilate and analyse facts
-Interest in Research
If one wants to practice law oneself then BA LLB will be the good choice. After this course one can specialize in the various fields like accounting, taxation, etc. The courses like CA, CS, ICWAI are meant for these specializations.
But if one wants to work with the management and business fields then BBA LLB will be more advantageous. These graduates will mainly opt for corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, etc. However after any of these courses one can work in their area of interest.
