No, Maths is not such compulsory subject that one has to have in 10+2 level of study. But, basic maths should be known as for instance, candidate should have studied Maths till class 10th level.

yes.! u have to w8 for cut off list make sure to check cut off properly and the criteria for admission.! I M student of FYUP batch DU and when I took admission they consider best four which includes the subject in which you want to take admission.for eg. if the cut off fr maths hons. in Hindu colg is 94, then aggregate of your best four should b more then that plus min 94 marks in maths.!

You being in top 10 doesn't guarantee you the the best job with the best package. Sometimes, it has been seen that students who have got very high grades could only crack a job with an average salary, while students who had arrears got the higest salary. As I have said, it all boils down to how you perform in the interview day. Grades are just an entry ticket for you to apply for the job, as a few companies demand above 7 CGPA, or a student should have no history of arrears, etc. So, getting good grades doesn't guarantee you a good job. It's how you perform in the interview is all that matters. Have a decent CGPA, and you're good to go
