I believe JEE score is not the only criteria but your board score also is considered. But if your board score is descent, I believe you may get into branches like civil, metallurgy, mining, etc. Of course this varies if you are from minority quota. Try your best. Otherwise other colleges are also there where you can easily get more desired branches like ECE, EEE, IT etc. You may try for that also.

Hi,
In most of the Universities/Colleges, the admission process of B.Sc. Are based on 12th merit while B.Tech admission are done through the entrance exams like JEE-Main/Advance. So in my opinion B.Tech have great weightage over B.Sc. Programs from job point of view. Further, a B.Tech degree holder have more options and exposure over B.Sc.
