After12th, there are plenty of choices. You can pursue engineering, science stream, hotel management, etc. You should take that stream in which you have some interest or passion.

It's good for hanging out with friends. You can learn many extra activities such as music, fashion, dance, etc.
Now regarding the study, it's similar to any other engineering colleges in India.
The placement in every year 90%. But in civil, it was below 5%.
So, if you want placement then join electronic & communication, computer science or information science branch.
One thing is the enjoyment which you will get. You will have best moments of your life.
The local police is not good. They always look for making out money. Some localities people will not cooperate. But if they become your friends than you will enjoy their company
