It's corresponding engineering course that is equivalent to BE or B.Tech.
It's standard is pretty much high in comparison to regular engineering courses.
Exams are held in the month of June and December.
You have to pass Section A (subjects are common for all branches) first and then and section B (subjects are of your engineering branch).
Results are declared after 14 weeks of the exams, Winter Exams Result declared in the third week of March and Summer Exams Result declared in the third week of September.
Admission fees is around 5800 for India, and then 2000 for each semester (max 4 subjects) attempt.

Ideally, you must complete your 10+2 for better prospects. Choose your stream, Science/Arts or Commerce basis your interests and aptitude. Know the subjects you enjoy the most and decide accordingly. You may also enrol in a Diploma course.
