Yes, most of the MBA offering institutes requires entrance exam scores. It may be CAT or any other. IIFT conducts IIFT entrance exam, similarly TISSNET for TISS institutes. Symbiosis conducts its own exam SNAP XAT for Xaviers and NMAT for Narsee Monjee institutes. It's better to write entrance exam to get a chance for a seat in top B-School of India.
