The selected students to the residential course is required to remain at the campus hostel. However, the majority of Symbiosis institutes provide hostel facilities to students enrolled in non-residential programs.

• Applicants will be required to take the institute’s entrance examination. But Students who are unable to be shortlisted on their own may apply for direct admission to Symbiosis Pune management quota seats, NRI quota seats, and donation seats.

At least 50 plus out of 60 in the aptitude test. Then, there is PI-WAT which means personal interview and also written essay after the selection begins. 

Eligibility for BBA course : Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from anyrecognisedBoard / Council / University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST category.

 Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test of our centre. Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%).

As Your question to get admission in VIPS with rank of 3044 (inside Delhi) for BBA course. it is totally depends on the cut off of this Institute because cut off is changed every year. you are not mention your category with us so it's difficult to me to provide accurate information with you. I'm not sure you will able to get this Institute according to your rank because cut off are change for different categories.

Breakfast menu:

Sunday: Dosa

Monday:Poha

Tuesday: Maggi/ Pasta/ Bhel

Wednesday: Idli sambhar/ vada sambhar/ dhokla and its variants

Thursday: sandwiches/ omlettes

Friday: paratha/ upma/ veg Frankie

Saturday: uttapam/ boiled eggs

Apart from this there's always option of bread with an option of brown and white, also toasted and not toasted. There's jam, sauce and butter.Cereals are available too daily. Milk ( coffee powder, turmeric) and tea.

Lunch menu:

Rotis are served hot with and without ghee according to our choices, curd, salad, dal and two choices of vegetable.

Generally potato, cauliflower, chana, rajma, lady's finger, cabbage, Tinda, carrots, beans, sprouts, paneer, etc.

Yeah alternative days in a week (MWF) they do serve dahi wadas, chilly pakoras, and dahi chat.

Saturday lunch is always special one with paneer and man's, with sweets and ice cream.

Dinner menu:

Monday: parathas ( aloo, paneer, methi)

Tuesday: pavbhaji

Wednesday: paneer

Thursday: manchurian and noodles

Friday: paneer/ potato

Saturday:brinjal bharta with Jowar roti.

Sunday: dal dhokli and eggcurry.

First things first, SVNIT is the best located NIT amongst the other NITs. It is located in the most premium part of Surat. Surat as a city is awesome. Really missing Surat, anyways the first year experience will be…how to put it…new. Do not think about how to get a job. Get a good grip of your engineering branch, that will do wonders for you.

SVNIT has good sporting facilities. If you are passionate about tennis or badminton, you are in for a treat. World class badminton and tennis courts await you but their maintenance is altogether another issue by itself.

The new found freedom can be hard to handle, so indulge yourself in myriad activities. Meetyourseniors and maintain dignified relations with them. Enjoy the peacocks frolicking in the campus.

You can feel homesick like many others do. Talk to your friends. Form an amazing friend circle. You will surely stick to them till and beyond your stay at SVNIT. If you turn out to be as lucky as I was yo u can befriend some amazing Afghans. I was lucky to have made good friends.

And do not take to smoking or drinking. It is only logical as it destroys your innards. Handle peer pressure with an iron fist. A No means a No. It is not cool to harm your internal organs.

It is going to be an amazing ride. Be proud of SVNIT. I had some friends who were always crying and lamenting about the negatives. Don't be one of them. You worked hard and got SVNIT. Cherish all the moments.
