We can give another attempt with proper reason, almost 5-10 students miss the internal exams due to some reason, we always have second chance for attempting another one by stating your reason to the exam coordinator. If you attempt one, but unsatisfied with you marks, you can't give it again. But if failed in end-sem exam you will have appear on supplimentry exam next three week, like a second chance without getting backlog. There's no another supplimentry after failing supplimentry.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Patna has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 14216. In 2022, it increased to 14895. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 5243 to 5285 for OBC, 2861 to 2793 for SC, 2861 to 1336 for ST, 2046 to 2226 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. To be honest, college life here is quite struggling, but it's not bad thing. We experience struggling as a student and making adjustment in life. We don't have permanent campus yet, but have small temperory campus which gives lot of basic things for students but it doesn't have college vibe, no trees, no garden to sit and study, no bench outside (have open air theater but not shade to cover the sunlight, we stay in the classrooms). Something like this could have made the us to get the feeling of going to college. No, IIIT Surat doesn't offer any specialisation in courses. Currently, we have two courses, Computer Science and Engineer and Electronic and Communication Engineering. Both the courses have advance syllabus which will be helpful for placements and doing some specialised career. Most students do specialisation course online as we get lot of benitifs and access to online specialisation courses like Matlab etc.

Let me clear misconception here, most people this its Private college as it is based on PPP model. Our college is Central Government college partner with State government and Industries which are public companines (run by Govt of India) like SBI Collect, GNFC, Gujrat Informatics Limited, Gujrat Gas Limited. No need to worry about the government status of our college, because our institute is central government college and an Institute of National Importance.

For 2022, cut off was 10861 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in IIT Patna - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 19143 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

There's no dress code at IIIT surat, you can be fashionable if you want. But dress code here represented on morality, we don't wear shorts here during the class regular days, apart from this, everythings allowed without keeping them too fancy. Most students here come in track pants, T shirt and flip flops. During the events, everyone' comes in fancy way! No one will bother you as college feels like family here.

That was an interesting question, as the condition of the hostel provided by IIIT Surat at SUV International School on lease is disappointing. Most of our students are on their way to hunt PGs. Finding PGs and Rented flats are difficult task in Surat especially for Bachelors, because most landlords in Surat provide room to families. They might even ask 3 times the rent to allow us for living in their flat. Otherwise, we are currently residing in Radhe Krishna Apartment located in Kamrej, a 10-15 min drive to IIIT Surat. There are few PGs but almost all are occupied, like Dada Bhagwan Complex. If you want to stay in PG, you have to find

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering was 13741 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Patna.
