Well as correctly stated by both Raja MG and Dr.Krishna, you can opt for Diploma in fashion designing but then as this is a diploma, would hold less relevance when compared to a degree program.

i appreciate tht even after doing ca, u r interested in pursuing more studies. well, u can do it from IGNOU,SMUDE or from The Global Open Univesity of Nagaland. all these univesities are approved, authoirsed and recognised by UGC (a govt. body) and will give u a degree only,

well if u cannot go for a regular course as u r working, then it is advisable to do it from distance mode. but, instead of a diploma, u shud do a post graduate degree level course.

HI Lakshmi, as stated in the discussion earlier there is no absolutely free education. There is some amount of fee that a student has to pay unless they get 100% scholarship for studies and for living expenses.
For instance, in Germany there is no tuition fee, hence the students study for free. But there is something called semester fee that the unviersities charge the students which comes to Euro 140 - 500 and some univ even charge 700 per semester. It is true to what Mr Raja MG has mentioned here. If you are looking for admission now and after having a gap in your career, the chances seem bleak yet you can try at the institutes which can have vacant seats or are having selections through self entrance tests rather than any State level or National level exams.
You can inquire with such institutes directly and then apply according to the ones that are having this provision.
