By CLAT you mean Law degree. Frankly speaking the scope of the Law degree is completely in the individuals hand, as it is only after clearing Bar Council Examination that one can practice law.
I would like to add here that most of the good Law Colleges like NLS etc. do provide placements in the form of internships, wherein Internships may be undertaken in lawyers chambers, courts, administrative offices, quasi-judicial establishments, prosecution departments, police and correctional institutions, commercial corporate establishments, Government Law Offices, legal aid centres, legislative secretariat, non-governmental organizations etc . It aims to teach professional skills, essential aspects of professional ethics and social responsibility issues and management of challenging situations in practical and professional life. So, even if you get placements it will be on you whether you will be able to practice as a lawyer or not.

Hi Pooja,
To pursue PhD you need to first prepare your research proposal and send it to the university. The research proposal must include a summary of the proposal and then the proposal in detail. You need to write the topic, reason for doing research, how the research will be beneficial to the community and the university, what is the different thing you are doing that hasn't been undertaken earlier. Also, include how you will progress during the research and the duration you might need to achieve the milestones you have set. If the university accepts your proposal you will be asked to send in your documents after which you will get the offer letter. Then meeting all the requirements you can begin with the visa process. To approach a University you must contact the dean or the professor at the University and ask them if there is any research going on. Because its always not mentioned on the University's website whether the research in your field of interest is going on or not.

Hi Inderjeet,
The most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your stream is your own interests and career aspirations. The options after BCA would be MCA in case you want to pursue a career in technical field and MBA in case you want to pursue a career in Management. Courses like graphics, web designing, Animation can be few of the other good options. Apart from this you can straightaway get into job as well and after working for few years can plan for further studies. After BCA you can join it industry in areas like system analysis etc. or with some Microsoft certifications can plan to plunge into IT or Computer Science Industry.

Hi Sadaf,
Although, B.Arch and Civil Engineering both the fields offer bright future but it would depend on your own interests and career aspirations that which degree you opt for. Architecture is a one step above the Civil Engineering as in Civil Engineers can only make the structures but Architectures are the one who can design as well as can build the structures.
As far as the colleges are concerned with the rank you have it would be difficult to get through any good Engineering colleges. However, you can look at private colleges like Amity.
