62% is low for Canadian universities and also GRE is not a compulsory requirement. However, check universities like Windsor, Laval University, Dalhousie University, Ryerson University, etc., which are also competitive but may consider.

None of any private colleges will give you scholarship for the whole B.Tech. It will give only for 1st year then after it depends on your performance. I think according to your JEE Mains and Advanced score, you can get admission in NITs.

There are plenty of professional courses available for you to choose from when you are in the commerce stream.
One of the easiest things to do is go for B.Com then M.Com and then maybe Ph.D or professor.
There's also an option to go for CA, CS, CMA and at times LLB.

Universities will be more costly. All degrees are of two years.
Only if you study 2-year program, you are allowed to stay back for three years.
If you do PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma) of 1-year then you will be allowed to stay back for 8 months.
