Jaineel, There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. If you are pursuing diploma after 10th then it would be highly advisable to complete 12th first as it is the basic requirement to pursue any advance course or apply for job in any sector in future.

After diploma in engineering you may opt for lateral entry B.Tech course. As per your query, NITs do not offer lateral entry course. But, you may refer to the below list of colleges offering your desired course.

Procedure :
- To take admission, you need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
- Eligibility for admission to lateral entry course is a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the Diploma course.
You may directly contact the university officials as lateral entry criteria and admission procedure differs from one college to another.
