In terms of the education quality and infrastructure, UK is one of the top most destinations for MBA. Some of the finest institutes are situated there and most of the courses offered are of 1 year duration and are accepted globally. But as per UK visa rule, foreign students cannot stay a single day after their study is over and if you are not able to get a job in a year, you have to come back to your home. But keeping everything aside, jobs are actually available there and you have to take a risk for it.

Software industry is slowly losing its charm. If you are B.Tech CSE or IT, then you may join IT industry. I will advise against joining IT industry if you are not from CSE or IT background. If you want to specialise in your chosen area of engineering, M.Tech is a better option.
