If you talk about the current situation biotechnology is at a budding stages in India, whereas, in foreign countries it has already created its niche, but in long run India is going to see a immense growth in Biotechnology field so by the time you complete your degree and ready to get into the field you have seen a manifold growth in the field, not only this Biotechnology students can also get into other technology related field.
Biotechnology is a field which amalgamates Biology with technology. This technology helps in research and development of various vaccines. The areas where biotechnology has grown in India include Bioinformatics, Agricultural biotechnology, Bio fertilizers, National Bio-resource Development, Plant Biology, Marine Biotechnology and the like. As The cut off keeps on changing every year it would be difficult to give any concrete information about the cut offs of the Engineering Institutes in PGECET Entrance Examination. However, few of the good Engineering Institutes taking admission on the basis of PGECET are: Acharya Nagarjuna University College, Aditya Engineering College, Akula Gopayya College of Engineering & Technology, Akula Sree Ramulu College of Engineering, AU College of Engineering etc.
As far as specialization is concerned you should choose your specialization, based on your own interests and career aspirations. Almost all the Engineering fields are good and your career growth would depend on your own caliber and capacity to perform.

Competence in technical and related subjects will normally be considered an advantage. The medium of instruction for UG programme at NID is English. Hi Sagar, to help you I would say that Bachelor of Architecture or B.Arch. is the branch of Engineering which is related to Planning, Designing and Construction works before starting a particular project. The designing or planning can be done for a mall, market, roads and even a city. This course is really one of the top engineering branches and very demanding one.You can assume a very good future after studying this.The eligibility for this course is 12th passed with Physics, Chemistry, Maths as main subjects. The best entrance exams for this course are IIT-JEE, NATA, AIEEE. You have to give the exam of additional paper that is called drawing. So, if you are good in drawing and you are full of innovative ideas then you can join B.Arch courses.
