There are numerous well defined works for engineers, medical practitioners, cooks, technicians, religious teachers and others in armed forces. An engineer in the Defence Forces is responsible for multifarious tasks like construction of bridges, roads, mining and de-mining operations, constructions of bunkers, provision of efficient radio and signal communications, repair and recovery, administrative assignments and so on. In this way, an engineer is exposed to all kinds of technical and administrative duties while serving in the armed Forces.
For a commission in the Indian Army men up to the age of 27 years and women up to 25 years of age can apply. In order to pursue BBA you need to be 12th pass from any stream with good academic record preferably 45%- 50% in 12th, plus you need to take entrance test conducted by various institutes.
Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from institute to institute.
Now coming to BPP program from IGNOU, then as per its official website it offers Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP)
This Programme is offered by the University to those students who wish to do Bachelors Degree of IGNOU but do not have the essential qualification of having passed 10+2.
So you may pursue BBA from IGNOU after completing BPP.
In absence of such a qualifying certificate these student are deprived of higher education. To enable such students to enter higher education stream, IGNOU has designed this preparatory Programme. This is an enabling programme of the University but is not equivalent to 10+2.
