Definitely, it's possible if you choose mass communication. Because wherever you will apply for news anchoring, they will ask a graduation degree in mass communication or may be specifically in broadcast journalism or television journalism and production. After that when you will get the degree then, you can't be appointed directly as a news anchor. Firstly, you have to work in field for getting the better knowledge of field. Yes, PGDBA is equivalent to MBA at SCDL. MBA and PGDM are both business orientated courses. The main aim of the courses is to equip a person who wants to move up in the hierarchy and enter in to the management field. MBA only provides degree to institutes associated to a university, while PGDM is not affiliated to any university and has its own syllabus. MBA is offered by universities and colleges affiliated to universities whereas an independent institution offer PGDM.
