The candidate category is mean the candidate (Student) is belonging to categories such as General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PWD. Allotted category means the candidate seat is actually allotted to a certain category. For example. There are a sum 20 seats available for admission into this course of Coordinated Msc in Chemistry in the College of Hyderabad.
As you can see this is quite a less number where the chances of getting admission becomes so much less.
