No, you can't pursue two regular courses at a time. If you have completed your 12th, you might pursue your Bachelors study from any open university (eg. IGNOU) and Polytechnic through regular mode.

It all depends on your interest. It is true that engineering and medical have better prospects in future, but before taking admission I would suggest you to see your inner voice where you want to go. You should evaluate your inner strengths and where you suit yourself. However, today animation also has got better prospects.

Hi,
You can ask him to go for:
B.Tech in aerospace engineering
B.Tech in IT
B.Tech in CSE
B.Tech in biotechnology
Once you have opted for engineering do not come for commerce as it would create confusion unless you have passion towards commerce else you can go for integrated MBA offered at SRM.

Hi Daksh,
If you don't have home-sickness phobia and are absolutely fine to pursue courses in other states, then I would suggest you to appear for as many states as possible. Better opt for those states where there are companies of your core stream. For example, pursuing mechanical engineering in Bangalore is not a good choice as the city is dominated by the IT industry. Similarly, studying IT in West Bengal isn't a good choice as the state doesn't have too many IT companies.
If there are more companies related to the stream you're studying, the chances of on-campus placement increases. Else, you'll have to depend on off-campus placement

Admission to reputed business institutes can be taken only after scoring highly in the exams conducted by them or in the exams which they have approved for admissions in their institutes. It has nothing to do with your clearing the backlogs.

In terms of job prospects, both are good. I would list the pros and cons of both.
Suppose you consider medicine as your career:
Pros:
