Hi Ramya, Fashion technology has a wide scope for choosing a career. In the prominent institutes, admission is strictly on merit- through written test, situation test, group discussion and interview. These courses are aimed at understanding concepts related to costume, jewellery, leather goods and many other similar products where fashion matters.
For further help, I am sending you institute link to get more understanding and value of the subject. Also, please refer to the below links for admission procedure, faculty, infrastructure, etc.

Dear saswati,
Dont worry,
keep studying well,
All you need a good set of marks in your entrance for getting into a regular MBA degree,
You need to crack CAT, MAT, GMAT etc with very good marks.
On the basis of your entrance score your admission will be decided.
In graduation you need to score minimum of 55% and above (It is always better if you score higher percentage in Graduation)
Hope it was of help,
Feel free to reply,
In case you like my answer choose it as best answer,
Wish you best,
Arun.

Hi Ananya,
You can look for jobs at fresher level in departments like Sales & Marketing, Retail, Administration, however the preference is given to PG degree holders.
Other than this, you can write government exams like IAS, IFS, IES, IRS etc. provided you are keen to get into it, also Banking is a great option and hence you can look forward writing and qualifying the Bank PO exams.
All the best!

Its always safe to do a regular B Tech . AICTE does not seem to recognize part time B Tech courses due to non fulfilment of total class/working hours in most institutes. Instead AICTE insists on a second shift B Tech. For Diploma holders, lateral entry into second year B Tech is permissible in some states and Universities.

Hi,
Group discussion and personal interview are one of the important eligibility criteria to get admission in MBA.
In group discussion, mostly the current topics are discussed so it would be advisable for you to keep track of all the current affairs, by reading news papers and magazines.
For interview you it would be advisable to appear for mock interviews and for this you can take help of your friends or relative who are working.
You can also get in touch with some students who are pursuing MBA, you can take their feed back regarding GD and PI.
So please don't be stress full, just read current affair magazines and newspaper to keep track

Ronak.Part-time work experience running the family business will not be taken into consideration. But if you have 3 to 4 years full-time experience running your family business, then universities will definitely consider it. In your case, you have been studying full-time and working part-time, and also you have secured only 52%. IELTS score of 7.0 alone will not be enough. You only sensibe option now is to do a one -year PGDM in Marketing in India and try to get high marks. You can then apply to UK universities for MBA where work experience is not required. (For example, University of Bolton). Don't try applying to foreign universities
