Journalism does not need an educational background, it only requires two things that is awareness and strength; awareness about what all is going around and whether it is right or wrong and the strength to portray / convey everything to the masses and how it will affect them. Journalism as a career is very challenging and requires a lot of hard work and patience.To become a good journalist you need to have a good command over Hindi, English or your regional language. Apart from good communication, you also have to be a good listener and an interpreter. So after completing your 10+2 you can join a good college to pursue Journalism. There are no set parameters following which you can qualify the entrance yet your determination, hard work, concentration are the important factors. But other than this, your strategy to write the exam should be good and well prepared, you should be well equipped with the pattern of the exam and most importantly need to know where you stand in the competition.

HI Nisha, for Mechanical Engineering, Germany is a better option as its known all over the world for its mechanical and automotive engineering. The exams you need to appear for are IELTS or TOEFL and GRE. Courses meant for International students are taught in English so its not necessary to know German. But a little knowledge would help you to interact with fellow classmates and find part time jobs. Classes begin twice a year in October and April. You must begin applying at least 9 months before the course begins.
