There are mainly two courses that are
M.tech or MBA
MBA : Masters in Business Administration
M.Tech: Masters in Technology
Both are Master degrees in two important fields one in technology and the other in Business
Both are equally important for the development of country.
Both are very highly regarded in the society
coming to your career if you select MBA or M.tech after your Bachelors
then your job opportunities are more than a student with the bachelors degree

Speaking of salary offered to freshers, let me highlight the fact that companies coming to the campus reserve the right select the candidate based on their preference and process which included aptitude test and GDPI. You have a good CMAT score and high chance of getting a call for PGDM course. Also, i suggest you keep a check on siescoms website for ILS form ( institute level sets - MMS course ). For pgdm course, if you have a good GDPI then expect to concert the call. For MMS through ILS list the cut off may drop to 90%ile as it did last year. In short apply for both the courses, convert whatever you are able to first. PGDM is a postgraduate diploma program which is given by stand alone / Autonomous Institutes which come under the jurisdiction of AICTE like XLRI, SP Jain etc. The MMS course is affiliated to University of Mumbai. There is no difference in terms of placement in PGDM and MMS. In fact, PGDM and MMS students sit together for final placements and internships. Both courses vary slightly in terms of academic portion however ensures a student is industry ready.

Hi Riya,There are totally 180 seats, there is no separate restriction for individual specializations. All though there are some rules for choosing your specialization. This academic year all students have been placed for both final and summer placements. Highest package was 14 LPA and lowest is around 5 LPA
