Well, all the fields have their own scope and space of work and opportunities. Choose the area of specialisation you are interested in and good at. In my personal experience, I have seen how engineering is one of the really good and prosperous courses to pursue with good job offers and diverse career path. Alternately, you may consider Bachelors in science with subjects like chemistry, biology, mathematics, food technology, agriculture and biotechnology. Corporate and educational sectors; private and public sectors all of them open arms with job offers.

Hello Rony,
When it comes between SRM and VIT, VIT university is only better. But as you haven't qualified VITEEE examination you need to go for SRM university only. It is also a good university for engineering. So, you can go for it.

IIMs are the top ones. Apart from IIMs other good institutes are T. A. Pai Management Institute, Goa Institute of Management, Loyola Institute of Business Administration, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES ) Dehradun, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, IIFT, Christ university, xime etc. You can apply for these colleges on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores while there are some individual entrances as well like MH-CET (Colleges in Maharashtra), UPESMET (UPES), IBSAT (ICFAI Business Schools) etc.
