The basic eligibility to join interior design course is to pass 12th in any stream. There is no age limit. Admission will be on the basis of the score in the institute’s entrance exam and interview thereafter.

Hi, Its indeed a nice decision. You can appear in CAT now, End of July forms will be out. But you should focus on CAT 2014 for admissions. Well and good if you get a good score in 2013, but it will give you an idea as to which area you need to focus. If it's English and vocab, or quantitative skills. You can buy previous yrs test papers and start solving them. There are study materials available in the market by different institutes for CAT exams. Next year, you can join any of the leading coaching institutes. TIME and CL , to name a few. They conduct mocks which is very helpful in gauging your strength.

LIke you can join fashion designing courses or go for CS courses. You can even join for law, Media is another choice.
Media and communication is another well developed and good field.
