Generally admission in IPU for B.Tech courses are based on ranks obtained in JEE Main. Hence ranks obtained in IPU CET for BCA will not be considered for B.Tech admissions. So you can not pursue B.Tech courses on the basis of IPU CET BCA rank.

Hi Pranav,
Ideally, you should not be pursuing engineering if your base in maths is not strong. I would advise you to take a psychometric test to know your aptitude and skill set.

Obviously, B.Tech degree has a higher value as compared to B.Sc. All B.Sc courses are the best but it depends on your interest in which course you have a knowledge. All the best!

You can start your preparation from the 9th only. NEET and AIIMS exams are usually conducted every year by MCI. They give us admission to various medical colleges in India. NEET syllabus covers mostly class 11th and 12th but both classes are somehow related to class 9th also. So, start solving MCQs based on your syllabus and give a mock test of NEET. Or you can join some coaching institute also if you want to.

BCA + MCA is considered to be equivalent to B.Tech, in fact many fortune 500 companies prefer a B.Tech or an MCA student so you have to pursue MCA after BCA if you prefer a desired job in an MNC and BCA + MCA will take six year to accomplish where B.Tech is done in four years, you can utilize your years working in your dream company and can gain a lot of industrial experience so choose your courses wisely.
