To be able to apply for scholarships and to good universities you should have a good score in GRE. By the time you appear for it, you will need to write the new pattern and will need to score above 280 above at least. According to the old pattern you should have at least 1450.

In the UK, UG engineering programs are of 3 years in duration. Courses commence in September and one can not apply directly to the Universities(most of them). You need to apply through UCAS and the last date is 30 June. You have the provision of applying to 5 Universities and UCAS charges GBP 21 for it. IELTS minimum of 6.0 is expected. You need to fill the application online and upload the documents also before submitting the application.

As you are pursuing B.Com, I would advise you to concentrate well on the same and try to score good. As for the future is concerned, there are many options that are available like M.Com, MBA, Law, or other non conventional courses like CA, CS, CFA, CWA, Animation, designing and many more.
You can look for the courses depending on your interest , also you can look for certain short term courses as well.
