As I have advised you earlier the most important thing which you need to keep in mind while choosing your career stream is your own interests and career aspirations as it is the passion in you towards a particular stream which helps you in excelling in that particular stream. However, both the specialization has good scope , so in case you like to work mineral-based industries, refineries, pharmaceutical companies, paints manufacturers, or want to get in research organizations, laboratories, defence establishments, atomic power plants, and forensic investigation departments then you can opt for Chemical Engineering on the other hand if you love doing programming, coding, software development, networking etc. you can opt for IT.

As Shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance it would not be fair on my part to give my personal opinion on a particular Institute. However, Amity is a UGC approved University, and has a decent placement record.
I would like to add here that few of the things which you need to keep in mind while choosing your Institute: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.

Hi Soniya,
There are many courses that can be pursued after completing your 12th with commerce and independent of Maths. You can look for the courses like BBA, B.Com Pass, BA, History, Animation, Mass Communication, BFA etc.
As you are interested in Accounts, you can always take up CA as an option along with which can pursue B.Com through the correspondence mode.
