IIT Bombay has introduced two new subjects in GATE 2021. Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training is a private institute under Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research (MAEER). The institute is located in Pune and was established in 2001. MANET is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping), Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. MANET Pune offers B.Tech. Degree course in Marine Engineering and B.Sc. Degree course in Nautical Science. It also offers B.Tech Lateral entry admission to the candidates.
