Dear aspirant, In my opinion, it is not true. It depends on your skill and your talent to an extent. You might be an awful finance guy but a great HR personnel, and considering this, your pay in HR would be way more than your pay in MBA-Finance. There are a lot of organizations that give a handsome number of salaries to MBA HR students and even in other fields. Though all other fields are equally important, if you see the career path in human resources, the people having 5+ years of experience in various disciplines of HR, even if they are from tier 1- Tier 2 institutions, are rewarded with 15+ Lac salary.
