The Oxford College of Education is recognized by the Government of Karnataka, affiliated to Bangalore University and Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education.
Duration of the course and medium of instruction:
The duration of study of B.Ed. semester course shall extend over a period of one academic year of TWO semesters. The duration of first semester shall be of 16 weeks and second semester shall be of 22 weeks ( 204 working days).
Minimum duration for practice teaching shall be of SIX weeks which excludes programmes like micro teaching, simulated teaching and practice of communication skills.
The college shall provide instructions in both Kannada and English medium separately in all subjects provided the total strength of students in such class is more than 40. However, English and/or Kannada shall be generally the medium of instruction for content cum methods of teaching school subjects.
Student-teachers shall opt English or Kannada medium for teaching practice irrespective of their medium of instruction opted for theory papers in the university examinations.

Hi Tanya, BITS Admission Test (BITSAT Test'12) is a 3 hour long computer based online test administered at dedicated computer test centers. It is a multiple choice test with syllabus for the same as indicated with the application form.
For getting admission to BITS for the Integrated First graduation course, the aspirant must clear 10+2 with PCM and sufficient aptitude in English needed for applying the test.
Those who are interested to appear the BITSAT can register through the online website. After filling the forms aspirants can take a print out of that. The application form and specified fees can be send to the admission director.
The aspirant can select the centers from within India or Dubai. If an aspirant opt centers within India like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, etc. They will be asked to give three preferences. The last list of centers in the country and the working days at every center in India and Dubai depends on the number of students. They will decide on this only after receiving the application forms.
