I remember answering a similar query to you yesterday. To add on, I would say that once you shortlist all the colleges for which you meet the requirements. There are various parameters like academics, extra curricular, performance in group discussion and personal interview also matters.
I would also say that not to worry so much and start preparing for the next step that is Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For your knowledge, key factors include humility, patience, objectivity, open-mindedness and an ability to look at things from other people's points of view.It's even about listening attentively to what the other people has to say so as to proactively participate in the discussion. It is always important to remember what your counterpart's last words were, when beginning to rant and rave.
