Meeting the eligibility criteria: The first step is to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria for the exam. This includes having a Bachelor's degree in computer applications, computer Science, or a related field with mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or in graduation, and meeting the minimum percentage requirements. Registering for the exam: The next step is to register for the NIMCET exam by filling out the online application form and paying the application fee. Taking the exam: The NIMCET exam is a computer-based test that assesses your knowledge of various topics in mathematics, computer Science, and analytical ability. Declaration of results: After the exam, the results are declared, and a merit list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in the exam. Counseling: Candidates who have qualified for the exam are called for counseling, during which they have to choose their preferred NIT (National Institute of Technology) for admission. The seat allotment is done based on the candidate's rank and the availability of seats in the preferred NIT. Document verification and admission: After the seat allotment, candidates have to go through document verification and complete the admission process at the allotted NIT. Overall, the selection process for the NIMCET exam involves meeting the eligibility criteria, registering for the exam, taking the test, and then going through counseling and admission procedures.

It's worth noting that this information is accurate as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, and you should double-check with the relevant authorities for the most up-to-date information.

I think I'm able to answer this question as I was given my CUET exam on 15th July 2022. From my experience, for domain subjects you should study NCERT thoroughly at least two times. Because direct questions come from NCERT only. And for English language go through with normal vocabulary as basic questions asked from it (like bibliophile, loquacious and vigilant) and some misspelt word preparation, like in my paper words were Occupation, Exquisite and Extrovert. And most important for English do practice of passages as much as you can do. Although in my paper passages (3) Answers were direct from passage and easily answerable. And some idioms and phrases practice were enough. Go through it and give your best. Believe in yourself, you can do it buddy.
